Constitution & Membership Documents
In our Constitution which we produced earlier this year we stated that our fees would be made up as follows, (a) Bidwell’s Mooring fee £40 (b) Membership joining fee £20 (one off) Yearly Subscription £20. However it was agreed that as we are not a profit making organisation, for the year 2015 that we would waive the £20 yearly Subscription and reduce this down to £10 for the forthcoming year. Any members who paid the full £80 will have their PMA bill adjusted for 2016.
Future AGMs & Members Meetings
Looking to the future it was decided that it would be appropriate to have our AGM’s as per constitution in either late October or early November, this would allow any new committee members time to get up to speed before the start of the forth coming year, again Special Meetings can be called as per Constitution, other than that we, if required can arrange to meet around a possible social night.
Its widely agreed and recognised that it would make sense, where required, that our moorings be serviced in a job lot style process, this would benefit our members and also the contractor. To allow this to work best we will make up a more, straight forward mooring ID system to run alongside the Crown Estate tags. We are required as an Association to mark on our moorings with the gross tonnage that the mooring can take. We are not that far forward yet, but this is something that we can incorporate into the ID system. This all needs further thought, but I am sure we can sort something out. Colin & Watson to action
